Amani Contemporary Art Gallery is an artist run center committed to serve the local community.

Most of the works shown here are by the photographer Rene Maisner.

We are committed to present works that touch upon contemporary themes related to the social, environmental, cultural and human subject matters as addressed by the visual art.

We are committed to participate, through the artistic expression, in the wide range of issues that concern the local community.

Every year during the months of December and beginning of January we present The Annual Peace Show which promotes the theme of "Peace On Earth" through artistic expression. We invite the multicultural community and other local art organizations to participate in this event.

Amani means peace in Swahili, an East African language.
